The Story Behind Rachelle's Island Beverages
Rachelle founded and created the signature line of World Famous Rachelle's Island Beverages in 1994 when she opened Island Deli within her women's clothing boutique, Rachelle's Island Boutique.  Jamerson-Holmes served her guest gourmet salads, sandwiches while quenching their thirst with her refreshing southern Rachelle's Island Tea, Island Punch and Island lemonade. 

A cafe style deli within the boutique allowing customers a convenient boutique style of shopping and dining experience. 

Since the closing of the Island Deli Cafe after 9/11 guest have enjoyed Rachelle's Island Beverages at home, catering events and at Thee Matriarch Bed & Breakfast.  

Rachelle’s Island Beverages are a delightful blend of signature tropical infused flavors with a refreshing southern twist.

Rachelle, Chef Fred, and the entire staff was absolutely amazing! Moving to South Carolina from working in restaurants in West Hollywood, California for the past five years, I have high expectations and they met every one of them. The hospitality that they showed their guests from the time they enter to the time they leave is truly something special and only something you find in places like Orangeburg, South Carolina. The food was amazing. It had lots of flavor and southern comfort. Not to mention, the island tea blew me away at first sip!! If you travel through or come to Orangeburg, put this place on your list!

First Friday at Thee Matriarch Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful experience! Today I enjoyed a very tasty meal that consisted of BBQ ribs, collards, macaroni & cheese, world famous island iced tea, and the best strawberry & cream cheese bread pudding anyone could ever imagine. Five stars! Thanks Fred and Rachelle!

Ms. Rachelle and her husband chef Fred are always welcoming at the Matriarch. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious, especially the island tea! This is one place you definitely have to visit during your stay in Orangeburg.
